Our lessons are all hands on behind the wheel. We only give lessons in our cars which are equipped with a safety brake. We do not give lessons in any other vehicle. We give lessons 7 days a week from sunrise to sunset.
The numbers of hours it will take you to become a proficient driver depends on how many hours you have already practiced and transfer skills (riding a bike, video games, sports). If you have never driven before it usually takes about 20 hours. It could be more or less, Every person is different. The State of Missouri requires that a 16 or 17 year old have 40 hours of practice (30 daytime and 10 nighttime) before taking their test. These hours do not need to be with a driving instructor.
The person taking driving lessons will need to present a valid driving permit before taking any lessons.
Requirement to getting your permit and license are outline in chapter one of the Missouri Drivers Guide here in chapter one.
*In Missouri you must have 30 hours of daytime driving and 10 hours of nighttime driving.*
